WHO ARE WE ?
Founded in May 2018 by Rashi and Nishtha, with a single motto to live their passion and reach out to people who love handcrafted home decor products. It all started with gifting to friends and relatives, but with the continuous support and appreciation, it soon turned out to be a booming online store with their sheer hard work and inspiration. We now serve customers all over India and world and are thrilled to be an impeccable part of the blooming home decor industry.
OUR STORY
Rashi and Nishtha are both innately creative army wives who have been exploring the horizons of art over a number of years.
Since both of them hailed from uttrakhand their heart have always been close to nature and its various hues. The transient life style of army provided an opportunity of imbibing various art form but also posed a challenge of establishing an ashiyaana in disolate places with meager resources
Necessity being the mother of invention we have experimented and evolved our distinctive art form which helped us in converting a house into a ‘HOME’
“PITARA is our very own cove of treasure which we have created with our own experiences of life in its various moods and shades. We believe in moulding our art form to create customize artifacts which would exhilarate and add chutzpa to any ambience.
Slowly as appreciation poured in and the sheer delight of our creation finding space in your home motivated us to spread our wings and expand our portfolio.
Along the way we also joined hands with girls of under privilege section of society, whose passion was honed by us. We are presently employing five such girls who have found a respectful vocation to help their family.
Each and every creation of ours is a flight of imagination and we pour our heart and soul into each and very creation.

WHAT IS DECOUPAGE CRAFT ?
Decoupage is a French art and craft technique where objects are decorated with paper cut outs. There are decoupage papers that are used to do this craft. A glue varnish is used to stick the papers that have been cut appropriately for surfaces. In decoupage, the concept is to give your surfaces a look of painting. The process gives flat cut-outs an appearance of depth and makes patterns and pictures look as though they are actually painted.
Decoupage is a fun and easy way to decorate just about any object, including household items from small vases to large pieces of furniture--the possibilities are endless.
We can decoupage furniture, window frames, jewelry such as chunky bangles and bracelets, matching memory game cards, decorate Easter eggs and tea light holders, paper napkin decoupage eggs, candy wrapper decoupage, wallpapered glass coasters, stamp decoupage and so on.
